It provides enhanced functionality and an unrivalled level of options for cell culture and microbial processes making it the ideal scale-down model for your large scale process. • Control glucose level with the local control software of the Biostat® B-DCU • Automated glucose set point control • Establish profiles for the glucose concentration set point • Monitor lactate concentration directly on the DCU screen • Select up to four variable speed pumps for substrate addition • Create advanced control loops based on glucose and lactate concentration • Develop your specific process strategy for event-based glucose feeds • Operate the BioPAT® Viamass probe without any external software • Monitor the viable cell volume directly on the local control screen • Make information about the viable cell volume available to supervisory control software • Implement advanced perfusion control strategies, e.g. via automatic control of feeds and bleeds • Robust and reliable determination of time of harvest or transfer of inoculum
