The new Autocard has been developed to create further value in the fibre preparation chain. It enables up to 18% higher productivity while carefully processing the fibres on a carding area larger than 4 m². The seamless can changer ensures long-term uninterrupted carding processes resulting in constant sliver quality.
Since the machine’s main dimension are unchanged, the productivity per square metre of occupied floor space is significantly increased. Its highly efficient drive and control systems mean that it uses considerably less power.
Larger carding area
As the machine features the same basic dimensions as its predecessor but a larger carding area of over 4 m², it is more productive while occupying the same footprint.
Prime components
Thanks to higher precision of key components like cylinder, doffer and electric components, a minimum of power consumption can be ensured. In addition, servo motors are widely used so that pulley changing is no longer necessary during technical adjustment.
MTA
With the new micro-short term autolevelling (MTA) system, excellent sliver performance can be ensured, meaning that it is suitable for almost all the downstream applications. The number of draw frame passengers can be reduced or, in some cases, draw frames may not be necessary at all.
LED display
The new LED light concept is integrated to inform staff in good time when intervention is needed with a widely visible LED status display. Can fullness and running status can be shown to ensure a faster response as this display guides the operator to the right machine. In this way, fewer operators are needed in daily production.
