Your Cobot: How to Avoid Repetitive Screwing
Screwing is one of the most appropriate applications to be carried out by a Cobot, for the quality of the operation and in particular for the repetitiveness of the process.
Doosan Cobots are equipped with a variety of tools to apply screws, bolts and nuts, performing assembling operations quickly and stably.
The collaborative robot is able to deliver the right force for screwing, eliminating the risk of slipping the screw or bolt used.
It is also possible that the Cobot communicate directly with the operator, through the addition of a few simple accessories, so as to signal of the end of the cycle, or ensure that the collaborative robot proceeds independently to an initial quality control by verifying the presence of all the screws and bolts during the assembly phase.
While conventional robots are limited on the force sensing capability of the screw fixture, Doosan robots use integrated sensors to maximize the final quality of screw assembly.
