Description

Radial bearings consist of an outer and inner ring, a cage and balls. The bearings are self-retaining. They are used in a wide variety of applications. Their main task is the transmission of radial forces. By their raceway geometry, they can also absorb and transmit a small axial force. Due to their low frictional torque they are idea for higher speeds. Standard radial bearings by SMG have the material combinations: rings/cage/balls - POM/PA/AISI 316 - POM/PA/Glas - PP/PP/AISI 316 - PP/PP/Glas Radial bearings in SMG's standard portfolio are designed on the basis of DIN 625, with the exeption of edge distances. Single row radial bearings are included in the standard portfolio. Double row radial bearings, as well as radial bearings with Z-shields can be found under customized products .
