Flexible shafts can be found in numerous applications in machines used in private gardens as well as in sophisticated machines deployed in horticulture and agriculture. A well-known and particularly important area of application of flexible shafts is in work machines with a motor-driven backpack unit. The motor output is transferred to the working unit via a particularly robust flexible shaft.
