Overview
Shur‑Co® and Dawbarn supply a comprehensive range of tarpaulin sheets for industrial and transport applications. Products cover skip and hooklift bins, tipper trucks, agricultural trailers, walking-floor trailers, containers and sheeting systems. Stock items and bespoke solutions are offered to meet vehicle- and application-specific requirements.
Materials
A wide selection of materials, constructions and colours is maintained in stock. Available materials include PVC sheets, MightyMesh™, heavy duty knitted mesh, Lumite™ and custom-made fabrics tailored to project specifications.
PVC
900 g/m² PVC sheets are used in sheeting systems and exhibit a temperature resistance from -40°C to 70°C. Replacement rollover sheets and nets are supported by long-standing order records to facilitate rapid identification and re-supply.
MightyMesh™
MightyMesh™ (exclusive to Shur‑Co® and Dawbarn) is an ethically produced mesh made from recycled materials. It is a market-leading, high-durability load-covering mesh engineered to last significantly longer than standard heavy-duty sheets.
Heavy duty knitted mesh
Designed for tipper trucks, containers, agricultural trailers and drop-side tippers, the heavy duty knitted mesh uses high-grade PVC-coated yarns and reinforced manufacture to improve service life under frequent use.
Lumite™
Lumite™ (exclusive to Shur‑Co® and Dawbarn) is a lightweight, tough material formulated for asphalt applications. It helps retain heat in tarmac and reduces asphalt adhesion to the sheet during paving operations.
Colours
Standard PVC tarpaulin colours are stocked for immediate dispatch; bespoke colours can be produced to supplied RAL codes for fleet matching and identification.
Mesh stock
Hundreds of heavy duty mesh tarps are kept for next-day delivery in common colours including red, blue, green and black, plus MightyMesh™ options.
Bespoke sheets
Made-to-measure sheets can be manufactured for specific trucks or trailers. Production lead times can be reduced to a few days where basic vehicle and size information is provided.
