Description
The Split 500 K from Sica is a planetary saw designed for continuous cutting of the PE coating on steel pipes, used for gas distribution. The device is able to identify the connection range between the steel pipes, before cutting only the PE coating utilizing the circular saw. The tool is engineered for repeatable and reliable operation, which offers a high-precision cutting mode due to the combined action.
This equipment can be chip- and dust-free operated, giving a silent and clean operation. No unwanted waste products are generated using a circular saw. This planetary saw has the complete range of workable diameters, which can be cut without using an additional equipment or clamps. In addition, two or three cuts can be applied simultaneously at configurable distances.
