Description

Generally used after pasteurisation treatment, the task of the pre-drier is to dry the surface of the product and reduce internal moisture significantly. Mounted on a completely stainless steel structure, the drier basically consists of a series of conveyor belts made of polypropylene or stainless steel, positioned one above the other to transport the product to an area where heating batteries are located and where there are fans for the recirculation of air and a series of stainless steel insulation panels with injected polyurethane which are easy to open for inspection and cleaning thanks to special hinges. The batteries can be finned and powered by hot water or steam; alternatively, there is the solution of the electric heaters. To ensure adequate moisture control inside the machine, there is a device for extracting moisture fitted with detection probes which, if necessary, is combined with a system for steam injection. Depending on specific customer requirements, the machine can be equipped with different accessories and details; for example, the fans can be mounted on doors that open to facilitate cleaning operations; air can be filtered to remove any impurities; and the belts can be cleaned by an automatic washing system.
