Description

Retardan®-200 L is a highly efficient liquid set retarder for calcium sulphate (Gypsum) based binders. Extremly efficient at very low dosages No reduction in the final strength Ecologically safe and EC1 plus suitable Usage Retardan®-200 L provides excellent performance in the control and adjustment of setting times and workability with calcium sulphate based binders. The product is especially suitable for the following applications: Production of gypsum boards (plasterboards / wallboards), fibreboards, partition panels, ceiling tiles & gypsum blocks Advantages The characteristics and advantages of Retardan®-200 L include: Highly efficient set retardation at very low dosages Allows adjustment of the binder slurry’s setting-time to the needs of the manufacturing process Compatible with a variety of calcium sulphate binder types and with other additives, such as Sika® ViscoCrete® superplasticizers Retardan®-200 L allows the preparation of large volume mixes and thus reduces the overall costs of the application No reduction in the final strength of gypsum based products (unlike with several fruit acid based retarders) Uniform quality ensures a stable manufacturing process and production running as well as uniformity and homogeneity of the final gypsum product Ecologically safe and free from formaldehyde Packaging IBC of 1’100 kg net Bulk supply on demand Colour Brownish liquid Composition Aqueous solution of modified amino acid Shelf life 12 months shelf life from date of production if stored properly in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging.
