Description

A static charging system consists of a high voltage generator and an electrode or applicator and cabling. The high voltage generator supplies the high voltage needed to create a static charge. This can vary from 3 to 60 kVolt. The charging electrode or charging applicator comes in different shapes to enable an optimum result for each specific application. Size and shape differ to make optimum solutions for each situation. Static charging Systems are used for different solutions; To bond or glue two materials together To prevent air inclusion during production To optimize a step in production More on the physics side of Static Charging can be found here. These rugged charging bars are used in a variety of industrial applications. The slot at the rear of the charging bar permits easy mounting. HDC charging bars are provided with a resistor to avoid failures in the machine control system in the event of accidental spark-over. The cable output may be straight or right-angled (90°). Flat surface charging Single resistor protection Durable construction Easy mounting Charging bar Working distance: 20 mm using <30 kV, 75 mm using 30-60 kV Suitable for a variety of industrial applications At an unforeseen spark it doesn’t create an interruption in the machine control
