Description

The hydrostatic level probes by Sitron have similar features as the pressure sensors, except for the fact that the Sitron probes are submersible. They are designed for depth and level measurements in deep wells, groundwater, sewage treatment plans, water towers, and other related applications. A weatherproof cylindrical enclosure fully houses these probes. Construction with 316S.S rigid rods, or with special types of cables for depth measurement is possible. The compact design allows for the LH840S model to work within ¾-in pipe diameters. The LH842 model is mounted via cable or rod on a process connection within the enclosure with an electronic module, and provides zero/span adjustability. All of the probe models in this series have a two-wire 4 to 20-mA output signal, and are fully temperature compensated. A broad range of process connections, pressure ranges, and insertion lengths are available. The probes come with surge protection.
