Description

The Hydrostatic Level Probes from Sitron are identical to their pressure sensors except that they are submersible. Specially designed to assess depth and level in deep wells, water towers, sewage treatment plants and similar applications, the hydrostatic level probes are completely encapsulated and housed in a cylindrical weather-resistant enclosure. They are made of either 316 stainless steel rigid rods or with special cables for depth measurement. This imparts great flexibility.

The probes use either ceramic cells or 316 stainless steel piezoresistive ones. Being compact, the probes allow operate inside pipe diameters as small as 3/4" (LH840S only). The LH842 models have a zero/span adjustment, being mounted by cable or rod on a process connection with an electronic module inside the housing.
