Description

The STERI-TROL is a pneumatically actuated 2-port angle pattern clean service control valve suitable for a wide range of applications in the pharmaceutical industry. The self-draining crevice-free design incorporates high-performance FDA approved seals and a quick release body and bonnet. The 3A's and EHEDG design is available with all industry standard connections plus materials and surface finish certification. Description STERI-TROL 'S' series are two-port and three-port controlvalves manufactured using 316L stainless steel. They aredesigned for mixing fluids (three-port only), and for on / offand modulating control of clean steam, pure steam andprocess fluids. The valve is operated by a pneumatic actuatorand may be interfaced with a control system using any of theSpirax Sarco range of positioners. Important note: Throughout this document, reference has beenmade to the standard SAE control valve. With the exceptionof the trim type and porting arrangement, the SAE, SHE, SALand SHL control valves are virtually identical. Approvals and certification • Compliant to ASME BPE 2002. • FDA, 3A and USP 26 Class VI approved sealing materials. • Designed in accordance with 3A’s and EHEDG. • EN 10204 type 3.1 certificates supplied as standard. • Surface finish certificate available on request.
