Description
Automated CrankScan systems allow repeatable inspection of crankshaft journals, fillets, and sidewalls.
Stresstech Group´s CrankScan 500 system for crankshaft inspection is an audit inspection system based on Barkhausen Noise measured with Rollscan. For data acquisition a software ViewScan is used. The system includes sensors for face, high face, radius and OD measuring on crankshafts.
The crankshafts are loaded and unloaded manually onto the stand. On the stand the crankshaft is rotated by a motor. The sensors are moved to measure the surfaces automatically. The system reports the operator pass or fail conditions indicating the degree and location of damage.
