Product overview
Right-angle (90°) optical prisms of the TS-0700P series. These prisms reverse left/right image orientation and deflect incident light by 90°; combined roof surfaces produce a 180° horizontal image reversal. Standard items are supplied uncoated; anti-reflection or metallic coatings are available on request.

Applications

• Binoculars and optical viewfinders
• Microscope eyepieces and imaging paths
• Side observation, inspection or illumination systems
• Integration close to camera lenses and light guides/fibers

Additional information
If a prism is placed within a focusing beam, the image focus shifts by approximately one-third of the prism dimension for BK7 material. Using the prism in the imaging path can increase spherical aberration and field curvature; account for this in optical design.
