Description

The Manual Injector represents a manual syringe driver is extensively used for pneumatic or hydraulic control of injection needles or holding pipettes. They prove suitable for injecting volumes in the nanoliter to microliter range. It also serves as a fluid control device in applications that require sensitive manual control of the displacement of microneedle contents. The syringe is constructed of superior quality components. The base assembly comprises of black anodized aluminum. The non-rotating Mitutoyo micrometer ensures to provide the drive to the gas-tight syringe1. The precision 3-way valve enables convenient filling of the fluid line and clearing of air bubbles from the line. The presence of Teflon tubing, chromatography connectors and a pipette holder2 complete the system. The injection resolution depends on the volume of the syringe that is installed. For example, 25µl installed syringe with one complete rotation of the micrometer (25 divisions) yields a displacement equivalent to 267nl volume and turning the micrometer one division (0.001in) yields 10.6nl.
