With the increasing proportion of plastic pipelines in cold and hot water supply and industrial pipeline engineering applications, the quality control of plastic valves in plastic pipeline system is becoming more and more important. Due to the advantages of light weight, corrosion resistance, non-scale adsorption, integrated connection with plastic pipes and long service life, plastic valves have advantages in water supply (especially hot water and heating) and plastic piping systems with other fluids in industry, which are incomparable with other valves. At present, in the production and application of plastic valves in China, there is no reliable method to control them, resulting in the uneven quality of plastic valves for water supply and other fluids in industry, resulting in lax closure and serious leakage in engineering applications, forming a statement that plastic valves can not be used, affecting the overall development of plastic pipeline applications. The national standard of plastic valves in our country is in the process of formulating. The product standard and method standard of plastic valves are formulated according to the international standard. The main types of plastic valves are ball valves, butterfly valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, gate valves and globe valves. The main structural forms are two-way, three-way and multi-way valves. The main raw materials are ABS, PVC-U, PVC-C, PB, PE, PP and PVDF.
