The BCK 0500 - 2000 candy cooling system is characterized by an even and gentle cooling. It cools large quantities of die-formed, filled or unfilled candies, from forming temperature down to packaging temperature. With its four performance stages of 500, 750, 1,000, 1,250, 1,500, 1,750 and 2,000 kg per hour, it is perfectly calibrated to the output levels of the Syntegon forming lines. Mode of operation The swivelling candy forming machine’s discharge distributes the candies across the entire width of the cooling system’s top conveyor belt. Individual drives on the belts guarantee an optimum distribution and dwell time for the products. The candies are brought down from forming temperature to packaging temperature by cool air. This air is gently passed through the product without any deflection, by means of several axial fans, which are arranged lengthwise to the product’s direction of travel. At the outlet of the last conveyor belt, the candies are cooled down to packaging temperature and may optionally be filled into transport containers, or fed directly to the packaging machines via additional conveyor belts. System cooling diagram with good accessibility and high floor clearance, it is easy to clean the system with water. The BCK is easy to connect to existing cold water circuits or can be fed via a separate water chiller, thus keeping maintenance work to a minimum. Benefits • Energy-saving and reliable machine offering even, economic cooling • Very quiet due to axial fans • The speed of the three transport-belts is individually adjustable to obtain optimum cooling results
