Hard carry cases provise rugged protection for all Tecal units. They include provison for the Calibrator plus cables and insert blocks with lockable latches. Soft carry cases are available for most Tecal units offering additional protection and shielding from from contamination. Pockets are provided for cables and insert blocks. Cooling Probes Tecal 425, 650 and 700X cooling probe This rapid cooling probe is designed to cool the block on a Tecal 425, 650 or 700X. The water cooled probe will cool a Tecal 425 or Tecal 650 unit down to 10°C if an insert block with a diameter 10mm or 3/8 inch bore or larger is used. Our Tecal 700X has a 10mm bore (or 3/8 inch) within the block so is ideally suited for use with the cooling probe. Tecal 1200S cooling probe The Tecal 1200S cooling probe should be connected to an air supply of 10 litres/minute which will improve the cool down rate by approximately 35% typically taking 2 hours from 1200C to 200C instead of 3 hours.
