Rope Bio Soluble Fibre Packing (Soft Lagging Core)

Bio Soluble (Calcium Magnesium Silicate) Fibre Packing (Soft Lagging Core) (Glass Reinforced): our soft bio soluble packing is a seal and insulating rope, made by over braiding mechanically resistant glass reinforced bio soluble yarns around a soft lagging core. The overbraid covers the core 100% (full coverage). The soft lagging core of the packing consists of blown bio soluble fibres resistant to very high temperatures. The combination of the glass reinforced bio soluble yarn and the bio soluble fibre filler, makes the soft bio soluble packing particularly suitable for static sealing applications. Its bio soluble fibre insulation is rated to 1000°C in situ with the glass reinforcement rated to 550°C.
