Rope S-TEX Silica Fibre Knitted Cord/Rope (Firm - With Core)

S-TEX Silica Fibre Knitted Cord/Rope (Firm - With Core) with SS Knitted Overbraid: our S-TEX Silica knitted cords (Non elastic stretch) are manufactured from high quality 6 or 9µ E continuous filament silica yarns. A silica yarn core is inserted in to the centre of the rope to prevent the knitted construction from becoming elastic in nature. S-TEX cords can also be produced with a black finish. A stainless steel knitted overbraid has been added to improve abrasion resistance and maintain the integrity of the cord significantly. The S-TEX Silica fibres will not rot, and are unaffected by insects, fungi, and bacteria. S-TEX is resistant to oils, solvents, and most chemicals, and suitable for continuous use at temperatures up to 1000°C.
