The external-toothed cylindrical slewing rings are designed for heavy-duty applications such as in cable baskets of ships. Made of sturdy materials and design, it affords stable and outstanding mechanical properties. The 3-row roller design features 3 whole forged rings and induction-hardened raceway. Prior to the induction hardening, the existing hardened depth is evaluated to optimize the process, and prior to the final packing, the whole setup is lubricated using lithium grease. The first two rows are generally made of aluminum alloy and the third one, called “spacer,” is made of nylon. However, nylon variants of first two rows are also available.the slewing ring is lubricated by Lithium grease before packing.
