Thorlabs' CO2 Laser Line Mirrors are specifically designed for use with high-power CW lasers. These mirrors consist of an electroplated gold coating on a solid copper substrate. The gold coating provides high reflectivity at 10.6 µm, and the copper substrate draws the heat deposited by the intense beam away from the coated surface, providing long-term stability. Because the coating is metallic, it is usable over a wide range of incident angles.
