Description

The new Rota-Clip model RCEG-12 is the state-of-the art, high speed production system designed to package most any pumpable product into flexible packaging materials of various types; some product examples are food emulsions of varying kinds (meat, oils, juices, cheese), mastics, adhesives, lubricants and/or explosives (soft emulsions and water gels for use in the Civil Explosive industry). This environmentally-friendly production solution can replace previously used metal cans, composites, or premade cartridge containers allowing the customer to utilize flat roll stock flexible films which can reduce or eliminate expensive inventory and supply issues. The flat film is formed and sealed into a tubular casing via a heat or glue seal system as the machine operates. The sealing system is an integral part of the Rota-Clip and included in the base price. The machine’s automation is based on a rotating table that contains 12 clipping stations. Each station consists of one double clipper that applies two TIPPER TIE clips, one first tie and one second tie. These clippers are designed to use one of the well known TIPPER Clip types based on product size - models 100T, 120T or Z213. As the machine rotates, casing and pumped product are fed into the Rota-Clip reaching production speeds up to 300 pieces per minute based product length, film type and pump type. The maximum production or output speed of the Rota-Clip is based on the Sealing Unit which has a maximum sealing capability of 300 feet (91m) per minute and the pump it is connected to.
