Description
We have designed and built a test bench to test dry friction pads, brake discs and clutches in accordance with the standards, simply and automatically.
The function of this bench is to carry out tests (Krauss, ATE, static, inertial, etc.) in order to calculate the coefficients of friction of the braking system, using an AC motor, which simulates the behavior of the inertia generated by the movement during the braking process.
Overall control of the machine is done by a PC that governs different PLCs, between 100 and 3000Nm torque, up to 8000 rpm and up to 500kW power.
