The Walter Prototyp TMO orbital thread mills are made to be compatible with 2 x d and 3 x d threads that do not require cooling. It is equipped with a special helical curve, and its threads are milled with just a three-thread turn long cutting edge. This technology creates more efficient output with its minimized radial forces, which makes it ideal for large or rigid parts for cutting.
This series of thread mills features vibration-free deployments during overhang length because of its improved shank size. It is made with a compact helix angle that reduces forces for soft cut operations, optimized by its positive rake angle. Walter Prototyp has widened its product varieties with its M1.6 to M8 small threads.
