The valve is used for shutting off pressurised gases. After it is closed, the valve automatically bleeds the interior and the integrated check valve prevents gas from flowing back into the inlet. The high pressure valves have a streamlined design that allows for top flow values and extremely low-noise operation. TV17GER is equipped with pneumatic actuation (basic setting NC). Regular compressed air is applied to control the actuation. It is used to switch the status of the valve from closed to open and vice versa. Compared to traditional linear valve, the WEH® TV17 valves with pneumatic actuation are characterised by their low weight. A comprehensive range of accessories including manual and electrical output signal indicators, flow restrictors, throttle check valves and vent fittings, allows for the valves’ functionality to be enhanced at any time. An optional check valve that can be mounted to the venting port, prevents ambient air from entering the valve during the venting process. There are also various adaptors as well as welding adaptors available for the installation of the valves.
