Novatech® pistons offer durability and reliability in temperatures up to 148.9°C (300°F) thanks to the innovative use of single 110 durometer material and a flexible lip. Overview Novatech® pistons combine a proprietary high temperature polyurethane engineered to withstand temperatures up 149°C (300°F) with a flexible lip. These pistons accommodate liner sizes of 4.5-inches, 5-inches, 5.5-inches, 6-inches and 6.5-inches. Manufactured of SAE 4340 alloy steel, each piston uses a single 110 durometer material compared to more traditional dual durometer designs and is rated to 7,500 psi.
