The TetraCon 700 sensors are ideally suited for use in wastewater treatment industry that has to deal with high loads in sewage systems. Thanks to the special measuring technique, there are no severe influences on the measured values due to polarization. This highly improves the accuracy of the sensors.
If the device is installed as per manufacturer’s instructions, it is possible to eliminate any error due to the voltage and current distortion. TetraCon 70 has special cell geometry which makes it immune to fouling. The carbon electrodes are abrasion-resistant and easy to clean. The protection provided by the modern epoxy resin encapsulation lowers the chance of sensor damage in harsh industrial environments.
The digital version of this model called the TetraCon 700 IQ is also available. This can be connected to the IQ sensor net. This version has a larger measuring range (10 microS/cm to 500 mS/cm). The TetraCon 700 SW is a seawater model suited for fish farming and it has proven to be very resistant to salt water and harsh weather conditions in the open sea.
