The optical sensor FDO® 700 IQ is a D.O sensor engineered for measuring and controlling oxygen concentration in the biological cleaning process of wastewater plants. The sensor employs the optical method in its design. By following this method, a fluorescent dye is stimulated in the membrane of the FDO® 700 IQ by a short wave length lightsource. This operating procedure results in accurate time measurement.
The instrument is H2S insensitive, and it requires no flow. It has a measuring range of up to 20 mg/l, a resolution of 0.01 mg/l in an O2-concentration, and a digital signal output. Membrane exchange is available through an exchange cap and a self-recognition of cap, powered by the IQMC technology. Data storage can also be calibrated through the IQMC technology.
