OverviewThe IQ SensorNet 282 and 284 controllers are a modular, plug-and-play system for a complete sensor network for continuous process monitoring and control. The system measures water quality parameters anywhere in a facility and provides improved network visibility, early detection of network failures, and support for regulatory compliance. The controllers include an easy-to-read color display, USB interface and data logging for analysis and troubleshooting. The 282 and 284 support common communication protocols including MODBUS TCP, MODBUS RTU, PROFIBUS and PROFINET.

System configurations and optionsThe 282 and 284 are offered in multiple controller configurations to match facility requirements (examples of configurable features: number of sensor connections, number of current outputs, number of relays, PROFIBUS or MODBUS connectivity, Ethernet/RJ45 remote control, 24 V AC/DC power-ready versions, and extended module stacking). The platform supports docking of up to three stacked modules for expansion.
