Description

Zaber’s new parallel grippers (X-GLP-E) detect when an object has been gripped and will provide feedback about the object’s size and finger position without extra programming. Only one power supply is needed when daisy-chaining to other X-Series devices, powering up to three devices, and reducing cost and time spent on cabling. Even if power is interrupted, the grippers will maintain their hold. These grippers are available with finger blanks that can be machined for your specific application.

The grippers are computer-controlled with built-in controllers and motor-mounted encoders, requiring only a standard 24 V power supply. Convenient locking, 6-pin, M8 connectors on the grippers allow for easy and secure connections. Externally controlled versions (GLP-E) also available.

Grips and measures different sized objects without programming, position feedback from motor encoder, built-in controller, daisy-chains with other X-Series devices, maintains grip even if power is lost
