The T-LA Series Miniature Linear Actuators feature integrated controllers and are available with travel lengths of 13, 28 and 60mm, with up to 4 mm/s speed and a maximum of 15 N thrust. These units have been designed to replace traditional micrometer heads on manual translation stages.
The T-NA Linear Actuators were developed to resolve several issues of the T-LA model, namely side-to-side wobbling of lead screws, during extending and retracting, inability to mount anything to the moving tip, and a maximum push force of 15 N. T
The first problem is eliminated by forcing actuator to push against a constrained surface (such as the translation stage), while the second problem was solved by designing the new model to be capable of more than just pushing operation.
