ZET 7112-I VER.2 digital gauge pressure is intended for use in automated process control systems for various industrial applications: petroleum and natural gas industry; metallurgy industry; energy industry; construction industry; chemical industry; food industry; utilities and water supply; motorized and shipping facilities; leak detection systems. It is a digital gauge pressure for simple and fast opressure values measurements which transmits the measured values in a digital form via CAN 2.0 interface. Functional units of Digital gauge pressure ZET 7112-I VER.2 are as follows: a primary transducer and a measuring unit; they are placed into a single cover which ensures digital processing of the signal from the transducer within the minimum distance from it which significantly decreases the influence of distortions on the measurement results. The membrane of the primary transducer is made of a silicon plate. The strain resistor circuit (bridge connection) is based on the “silicon on sapphire” technology (SOS). This allows to perform inertia-free dynamic measurements in the range up to 1000 Hz. In contrast to metal membranes with glue-fixed bridge strain resistors, SOS membranes allow to register pressure change at the level of 0.00001 of the upper scale of the range. Sensitivity of the electronic amplifier is 15 nV reduced to the input. The primary transducer converts the pressure to analog signal. Then the measuring unit digitizes the signal with 24-bit AD converter and transmits the pressure value in a digital form via CAN 2.0 interface.
