Single-screw testing machines are used mainly for tests that specifically establish extreme demands on load-frame stiffness. Common applications include low-cycle fatigue tests, creep tests, fracture mechanics tests and tests on springs and ceramics.
The unit comes in 100 and 250 kN versions. Its main drive screw offers a suitable flow of force during the test, allowing straight load application to the specimen.
The framework provides sufficient load-frame stiffness. Furthermore, the modular design of the entire system enables the whole Zwick accessory line to be used.
