Company history

More than a hundred years of innovative electrical installation technology

Since 1953, more than 65 years ago, AGRO has been developing and manufacturing high-quality products and systems for cable entries and cable laying - for the mechanical engineering industry, for plant and equipment construction, and for professional electrical installation work in buildings of all kinds.

Since the invention of the modern cable gland in the 1950s by its founder Alfred Grossauer, the company has further developed and perfected its know-how and capabilities in relation to the product. A team of approximately one hundred dedicated employees ensures that you will receive a state-of-the-art product that conforms to the applicable standards. In our in-house certified test laboratory, we ensure that the products you receive from us are of consistently top quality. Thanks to our extensive network of specialist distributors in 40 countries and on all continents, we are there where our customers are.

AGRO has been part of the KAISER family of companies since 2002. We work to take advantage of the synergies between the companies in the group, benefiting our customers at home and abroad.
