Areka Filtration Technologies Ltd.

About Us

Engineered in Istanbul,
shipped to 30+ countries.

We design and build nanofiber-production equipment for the labs and factories that are still figuring out what nanofibers should do.

Areka began with a process problem in 2007. During early melt-electrospinning studies, repeated 45,000 V shocks and 250°C burns made the experimental setup impractical. We asked whether compressed air or centrifugal force could replace electrostatic spinning. That question led to the AeroSpinner and NanoCentrino concepts. Areka then began supplying non-electrostatic nanofiber equipment. Later systems came from similar process needs. The portfolio is organized as ArekaNano for polymer and fiber processing systems, and ArekaLab for dosing, power supplies, filtration, air treatment and related laboratory equipment.

How we build · 4 pillars

Equipment and materials.

Areka Kimya develops the polymers, additives and solvents used with the lines we build. The two businesses have separate specializations. Visit the chemistry site for material inquiries.

Specialty polymers (PLA, PVA, UHMWPE, hyaluronic acid), polymer additives and specialty solvents (DMSO, NMMO) provide the chemistry for the lines we build. Areka Kimya operates as a separate business with its own specialization.

Our values

Engineering principles:

Four principles that guide every system we design and deliver.

01
R&D-driven by default

Every standard product began as a custom build for a research customer. The catalogue follows the lab, never the other way around.

02
In-house mechatronics

Mechanical design, electrical hardware, motion control and HMI are written, wired and assembled by the same team in one building.

03
Equipment and material coordination

When material behavior affects a line, the equipment and formulation requirements are reviewed together for the project.

04
Service after install

A nanofiber line is a process, not a product. Our engineers stay reachable for the people who run the lines we build.
