Elife International S.r.l is a microelectronics engineering company founded in 2000 in Portoferraio, located in the center of the Island of Elba, Italy.

After over thirty years of experience in the development of automation solutions for industrial manufacturing processes and in the development of electronic precision instruments, Elife International S.r.l was established to design and manufacture motor controllers and smart electronic control units (ECUs) for both Electric Vehicle (EVs) and Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGVs).

Elife International S.r.l has become in a few years a international reference point for our motor controller solutions based on automotive electronics standards and CANbus/EtherCat network protocols.

Thanks to our highly qualified staff who cover all aspects of our business – electronic and software engineering, mechanical and materials testing, we’re able to fulfil the different customers’ design needs and demands.

THECNICAL PRESENTATION
An important premise is to focus attention on the constitution of Elife International S.r.l.'s staff, which is predominantly technical in nature, Diplomats and Engineers almost all of whom are assigned to design.

The production of semi-finished products is in most cases outsourced to external companies that perform the assembly of components with automatic machinery, then these parts return to Elife for final processing and testing. Organized in this way it remains evident that the majority of the staff can devote themselves completely to the design and development of new products, this has over time enriched the wide variety of products and accessories that Elife can offer the market both in Italy and worldwide.

Founded in the year 2000, Elife already since 2006 has added to its products a new series by starting to design and produce drives to control Brushless motors, Asynchronous motors and DC Motors, where the power source is not the conventional mains socket, but a battery or equivalent DC voltage source with values starting from 12V nominal up to 96V nominal and powers up to 5kW (today we reach up to 900V and 230kW)
The application areas of these products were initially the handling of AGVs used mainly in industry within automated warehouses and the handling of goods within manufacturing companies.

Subsequently, the field of use of our drives has broadened to embrace sectors such as the handling of semiautomatic vehicles intended for agriculture and widening to handle the control of motors in electric road vehicles such as motorcycles and small experimental cars, as well as all intermediate sectors where the control of a motor is needed and a battery source is available.

In the years to come Elife has steadily invested its internal resources in the development and refinement of drive production by broadening the choice toward solutions that differ from each other in flexibility, size and shape, but in essence the core of the technology remains common, and this allows the performance of the predisposed devices to be elevated by acquiring the technological innovations constantly brought by the innovation research that Elife regularly performs independently.

An important aspect toward the products built by Elife is the company's own flexibility to produce particularly customized versions.
In the case of customers who require a particularly low price, but need to produce large quantities, about 1,000 pieces and up, in such cases Elife will make the required device starting from the series product closest to the required performance, then redesign it by inserting only the components necessary for the request and, if it is required, even making it with the new dimensions suitable for insertion into the customer's equipment.
It should be emphasized that in order to obtain the lowest price Elife will never skimp on the quality of components, but will achieve this by eliminating unnecessary components and studying solutions to eliminate most of the human intervention in assembly, thus entrusting most of the work to automated systems of the latest technology.
