HEITRONICS Infrarot Messtechnik GmbH was founded in 1995 and dates back to 1946, when Prof. Dr.-Ing. Walter Heimann first founded the company “Physikalische Technische Werkstätten” , which was later renamed Heimann GmbH. Heimann was involved in the development of various methods and measuring instruments for non-contact measurement of temperatures. In 1982 Siemens acquired Heimann GmbH, and in 1992 it was split up.

In May 1995, HEITRONICS took over the infrared measurement technology division of Heimann GmbH as a management buy-out. Today, 20 highly experienced employees and freelance collaborators are the HEITRONICS team.

HEITRONICS is engaged in the development, production and distribution of Infrared Radiation Thermometers (Pyrometers). The product range is complemented by display and networking devices, accessories for mounting, adapting and protecting the instruments, calibration certification as well as configuration and evaluation software. The instruments are characterized by high accuracy, stability and long-term reliability. Application solutions, technical guidance and training and comprehensive on-site service are part of the support provided to our clients.

Infrared Radiation Thermometers are used in all areas where modern process technology is needed, especially in factory automation and machine control, thermal processing of materials, quality control, research institutes, etc.
