HIMMELWERK

Who we are

Himmelwerk means top of the line induction heating equipment made in Germany. We offer a wide range of products operating in a frequency spectrum between 4 kHz and 2000 kHz while delivering up to 250 kW of output.

Our high- and medium frequency electricity converters enable a broad variety of possible applications of induction heating in your production process. Our induction systems are used for thermal treatments like annealing, tempering or hardening but also for soldering & brazing welding, forming, joining and melting. We are experienced as well with forge heating, drying and coating processes and we are heavily invested with research projects like e.g. the international nuclear fusion research project ITER.

With more than 70 years of experience in induction and over a century in industrial electronics manufacturing we are a leading company for induction heating solutions and are spearheading the field of high frequency induction around the globe!

While our technology is mainly used in industrial metal heating applications for e.g. steel, aluminium, copper or brass (or even titanium), it can also be used to heat non metallic materials such as graphite, molten glass, fibre plastics, silicon, plasma and now with the use of nano particles even more materials can be heated.

Whether you need an industrial scale solution or just want to find out if we can provide an induction system for your individual non standard material or research case, just give us a call!

Our values

We believe in a sustainable future through adaption of better technology and the application of the three Rs:
- Our Induction heating systems REDUCE overall energy consumption and allow for the use of renewable Energy.
- They are also designed for long term use and can easily be adapted for REUSE in new production processes.
- Finally, they are also easy to RECYCLE with little to no glue used, standardized screws and often interoperable components. This allows not only for easy disassembly for materials recycling but also enables beyond repairable converters to become parts donors and gift some more life to other systems.
