Excellent quality and high precision: these are the secret weapons with which Zanatta has faced future challenges, becoming a reference point in the market for its creation of racks and gears. The company now has over 100 machines for its production processes. The traditional skills of craftsmanship are combined with technical innovation, enabling our expert professionals to execute the processes of creating mechanical gears and racks in a direct, hands-on manner. The business was founded in the early 1970s by Romeo Zanatta, and at the time was mainly concerned with processing and producing racks for gates. Later, the company established a sector for the production of racks for industrial use, and also gears. In 2005, a change occurred, with the merger of the two parts of the company. Meanwhile, investments were focused on improving quality, adding value to the firm’s products and enabling Zanatta to establish itself in the market-place. The company now has over 1000 square metres of warehouse space, which, combined with its excellent machinery, ensures a high degree of flexibility and fast delivery times. Discover new frontiers in terms of precision and efficiency, and choose Zanatta for racks: whether for gates or industrial use. We combine proven experience and sophisticated technology to offer the best solution for all customer requirements. Zanatta produces racks which range from Quality 10 to Quality 6 on the precision scale. The metals we use include simple steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. To improve durability we employ heat treatments, always in line with the type of application and the material used. Our racks for industrial use range from module 0.5 to module 30 on a square or flat section with straight or helical gear teeth, and up to 6 metres in length. The company is equipped with cutting-edge machinery, such as CNC gear-cutting systems. We can straighten existing racks by means of a CNC straightening machine, which allows us to achieve rectilinear tolerance levels of up to 0.1 mm/m. We can also execute CNC milling and boring up to L=4000, grinding of surfaces, and CNC grinding of gear teeth to Quality 6. In addition, we offer the possibility of die-casting plastics. The company makes use of a 3-D measuring machine for measurement control, helping to ensure the high quality of our racks. We can also make samples. The flexibility of our working structure allows us to create either single pieces or large quantities, with very prompt delivery times. Zanatta creates racks for sliding gates and for machinery in general. The company produces articles both to design and from the catalogue.

GEARS

Maximum precision in the production process and careful attention to detail are the hall-marks of metal gears from Zanatta. Our high level of expertise and proven experience allow us to obtain the very best results, and the use of our technically sophisticated equipment ensures we can meet any requirement. Zanatta specialises in the production of precision mechanical gears, ring gears and pinion gears, which range from module 0.5 to module 30, straight and helical, for chains up to 2”1/2. The maximum diameter is 3200 millimetres. Zanatta can execute precision grinding up to module 10 and a maximum diameter of 800 millimetres. We can also produce rounded gear teeth up to module 8 and a maximum of 350 millimetres in diameter. Ring gears and pinion gears for chains can be produced in standard form or to design. Zanatta produces metal gears to order and in quantities of up to 200 pieces. Precision, speed and quiet performance are all guaranteed by our expert processing methods, which combine skilled workmanship with the latest technological solutions.
