SPINEA® is one of the world's top four manufacturers of high-precision gearboxes, with only two manufacturers using the so-called cycloid principle, similar to SPINEA®. The company's products are suitable for applications requiring high gear ratio, high kinematic accuracy, high torque, high rigidity and low weight.

SPINEA® gearboxes are among the strategic components in industrial robotics and are widely applied in automation, machine tool manufacturing, navigation, vision and medical equipment, and many other fields.

In addition to standard industrial applications, TwinSpin® gearboxes have found their way into scientific centres such as CERN, wind tunnels for the development of Formula 1 monoposts, Swarovski production facilities, as well as camera equipment that has made films and TV series such as Fast & Furious and Game of Thrones possible.

The high precision reduction gear sold under the TwinSpin® is based on a reduction mechanism and a new design solution of the radial-axial output flange. It represents a new generation of systems for the transfer of energy. The term “TwinSpin®” indicates the full integration of a very high precision trochoidal gear with a radial-axial bearing in a single unit. This new transmission concept allows the use of high precision TS reduction gears in the joints of robots, rotary tables, and in handling or transport systems. The high precision reduction gears are designed for applications that require high reduction ratio, high kinematic precision, low lost motion, high moment capacity, and high stiffness of a compact structure in a limited installation space, as well as low weight.
