We have two different types of silicon belts, among them the VS292, an all-silicone belt with a fiberglass carcass to ensure good performance in extreme-temperature applications from -50°C up to +200°C.

VERNA SERIES
Belts with polyolefin or transparent silicone top cover. Depending on the belt type, the bottom cover may consist of polyester fabric or smooth or embossed polyolefin, and the weft can be rigid or flexible. All of them are resistant to animal and vegetal oils and greases, and most of them are antistatic. The silicone top cover is ideal for the conveyance of very sticky products. The polyolefin excels at the pyrolisis test (that determines non toxic combustion at 810 ºC), as required by some tobacco processing plants.

Stainless Steel is often specified when sanitation requirements are a primary concern. The hard, flat and smooth surface of the belt is easy to clean with steam or chlorinated water. Corrosive cleaning solutions will not harm the belt material. In food applications, the belts provide a stable material that will not absorb natural odors or effect the tastes of materials being transported.

Stainless steel belts are appropriate for continuous conveyance in clean rooms as they generate minimal contamination in belt conveyance systems. In addition, their limited amount of vibration causes no effect on work, and their high conductivity enables electric resistance to be restrained at no more than 10 Ohm. Preventing electrostatic charge and limiting contamination to a minimum, these belts are capable of maintaining consistently clean conveyance conditions

Paper
Esband offers a range of light or extremely elastic, highly ozone-resistant, very abrasion-resistant or low elongation belts for the various different paper processing and handling requirements. Typical applications: printing presses, copiers and scanners, change dispensing and ticket machines, paper and cardboard processing machines.
Food
Esband facilitates gentle processing and packaging of food. The belts are suitable for food handling (FDA/BGA approved), easy to clean, temperature-resistant and variable in elasticity, flexibility and friction coefficients. Typical applications: knife-shaped edges, distribution stations, packaging machines, cheese-making machinery, bakery lines.
Scales
Esband makes for perfect weighing technology. Thanks to their absolute homogeneity along their entire length, including in terms of weight, plus the coating and stretch characteristics, special surface finishes and low-friction covers, every belt exactly matches our customers' requirements. Typical applications: for light unit and bulk goods, dynamic scales, knife-shaped edges, tight flexing radii.

Impact Resistance
Goodyear underground belts come well prepared to withstand the worst. That’s because loading impact damage, a major cause of belt failure is already assessed and predicted at our Technical Center Laboratory. During the design phase, Goodyear engineers utilize an enhanced Dynamic Impact Tester to accurately simulate loading impact force and its effects on belting. This information contributes to the design of our Triple-Warp fabric weave.
Transverse Tear Resistance
Due to the extremely high transverse tear strength of Coal Quest belts, edge tear occurrences are minimized and contained.
Rip Resistance
The Triple-Warp fabric design of Coal Quest belting helps dislodge and expel foreign objects and contain rips to a small area.
