PCB Professional drill Blanks
Sandvik Hard Materials is the world’s largest supplier of the cemented carbide blanks used in PCB cutting tools supplier.
The progressive miniaturisation of printed professional circuit board design requires ever smaller cutting tools.
In order to meet performance requirements in terms of wear resistance, rigidity and toughness.
Sandvik Hard Materials has specifically developed cemented carbide grades with an extremely fine grain size.

| For machining the desired part, we choose the most favourable manufacturing method. The fastest way of getting blanks is the direct pressing of the granulated powder by a corresponding tool and sintering afterwards. An alternative for complicated or bigger parts is the two step shaping method. Details: maximum possible are blanks up to Ø 190mm or a length of 300mm. |

The Complete Range
Our carefully planned, wide variety of indexable inserts is one of the highlights of the Pokolm-Voha program. A perfect complement to our milling machine cutter program, it offers a wide selection of carbide grades, geometries, and diverse application possibilities. The program provides an optimal solution for every task:
Diameters of 5 to 20 mm (radii of 2.5 to 10 mm), diverse shapes, carbide grades, and coatings – along with a great variety of milling cutter bodies, our patent-protected insert seats, and arbor systems – allow combinations in every possible way.
All Pokolm-Voha inserts have been developed based on shop-tested applications by our customers, and we improve our inserts to meet every new challenge. This constant and innovative developmental process, and a remarkably intensive cooperation with our carbide suppliers and coating partners, guarantee state-of-the-art types of inserts at all times. |

Secomax is a range of high performance cutting tooling grades based on PCBN-Polycrystalline Cubic Boron Nitride.
The current range of Secomax grades are, CBN400C, CBN350, CBN300, CBN200, CBN150, CBN050C, CBN100 and CBN10. Secomax grades are formulated and specifically developed for machining hardened steel, pearlitic cast iron, hard iron and superalloys. When machining these materials with Secomax substantial reductions can be achieved in production costs. For example machining times compared to grinding can be reduced by up to 90 %. Secomax inserts can also outperform ceramics by more than 30 times when machining pearlitic cast iron. Capable of high stock removal rates and environmental benefits, Secomax offers many advantages compared to grinding.
