The Laser Mech Lens Mounting System solves the problem of lens removal for replacement and inspection. By using a simple cartridge mounted lens inserted into a side slot in a permanently positioned manifold block, the problems of the traditional threaded, axially inserted lenses are avoided. This innovative mounting method allows removal and replacement of the lens in seconds with no readjustment of the optical alignment and without the removal, replacement or disassembly of any other part of the optical system.
Each assembly consists of a lens mount manifold block with very fine, adjustable lens centering screws and a spring-loaded, lens holder assembly to hold the lens. The lens holder contains all the seals necessary to pressurize the space beneath the lens for use with the Gas Jet Manifold.

ROLYN Mirror Mounts are designed to give the very best combination of economy and performance. There is no glass-to-glass contact. Clear aperture obscuration caused by the plastic mirror holders is minimal. These three holders form an adjustable rigid orthogonal kinematic mount for the mirror which resists vibration and handling. Black anodizing minimizes reflections. Mirrors are not supplied with the mount.

The Universal Mirror Mount/Platform 840-0052 is suited for precise adjustment of standard mirrors which can be directly bound to it. The mount may be used in horizontal position as a tilt table. Then it can be used to align opto-mechanics around two axes. For such mounting the mount has an M4 hole on its back

Lens holders are designed to position miniature lenses over CCD/CMOS imagers with high degree of accuracy. Lens holder must keep the lens optic axis centered on the active area of the imager. It must also keep the lens axis perpendicular to the imager surface. Some lens holders also provide special features for holding IR cut-off filters and optical low-pass filters. Lens holders are precision-molded with special plastic materials.

ECO-1 stand is the ideal support for all types of barriers of the SB series and for MDG0001 mirrors. It is practical and economical and is anchored to the floor by means of two 10 mm diameter metal anchors (not included). The base is composed of a 15 mm thick burnished iron plate, with holes for the anchors. Each post comes with 4 sliding inserts already positioned in the side splines of the burnished element. The brackets supplied with the fences or mirrors shall be fixed to such inserts. If one of the other splines is to be used (the extruded element comes with one spline per side), simply remove the plastic cover from the post, recover the inserts and insert them where desired.
If the application is particularly demanding from the viewpoint of mechanical stress, an 'L' reinforcement bracket (code: ECO-L) can be fixed between the post and the base. Normal application do not require the reinforcement bracket since the aluminium extruded structure is anchored to the iron base by means of a large screw, which goes approximately 100 mm inside the extruded element and the head of which is hosted inside the base plate.

Built using proprietary manufacturing processes and custom in-house metrology that result in ±1-nm thickness precision, these etalons lead the industry with superior free-spectral-range tolerances to as tight as ±0.001 GHz. They are supplied to leading OEM customers and researchers worldwide in the telecommunications, aerospace, laser research, and defense industries. With temperature tuning, solid etalons enable precise alignment to the telecommunications ITU grid without active alignment during packaging.
Multi-cavity etalons with flat-top filter functions are also available. They utilize our unique epoxy-free-bonding (CADB) technique for 100% optically transparent optical paths and zero bondline thickness.

System installation kits allow the experimenter to provide experimental setups within shortest time. Furthermore, it is guaranteed that, when using the existing system components with a future series production, the same kits can be employed. This is particularly important for the industrial research. With the available profile rails, the four different side profiles and the corresponding riders, beam handling heights of 40 mm (SYS 40), 65 mm (SYS 65) and 105 mm (SYS 90) can be reached.
- rail/slide system allows rapid changing of components
- for linear, 2- and 3-dimensional setups
- universal - for laser and fibre-optic technology and classical optics
- for laboratory experiments and series production
- components of the SYS 40 can be combined with System SYS 65 and micro-systems from other suppliers
A wide range range of mounts and adapters make sure that practically all optical components can be properly mounted. The compatibility of these systems to systems from other manufacturers, who followed the OWIS standard, is not less important.
Mechanical and optical starter sets are composed to meet initial requirements. These contain the most frequently needed mechanical or optical components in a rugged convenient case for transport and storage.

The inner values of the FIMPXL are really convincing and the installation is quite simple and done very fast.
FIMPXL is ready for splicing and it already contains splice tray, couplings, pigtails and cable gland. Regarding different couplings, you can choose from SMA, ST, SC, LC, FC-PC and E-2000. The front panel and the splice cassette can be removed for splicing and since the cassette is magnetic, it can easily be fixed onto a splice unit. The cassette has got a hole for splice units with a bolt.
The powder coated stainless steel housing is also magnetic so that the splice box can easily be affixed to another housing or to a switch cabinet in case of no different tray. Furthermore, FIMPXL has got a clip for DIN rail mounting (35mm) and a kit for wall fastening. Thus, there are space-saving and flexible solutions for mounting our FIMP.

ROLYN Optical Flats are now available with certifications of 1/10 wave length accuracies (.000002"). These are made of special fused silica with ground edges with slight safety chamfer and with the second surfaces pitch polished for better visual inspection of the patterns created when in contact with other surfaces. These flats are used in determining surface qualities in optical shops, instrument fabrication, machine and experimental shops, for laser usage and a multitude of other applications. A must for inspecting and checking your "Jo" blocks.
|
|
Optical flats are used for testing and evaluating other optical elements. An interference pattern is formed in the air between the flat and the object being evaluated. The pattern consists of alternating bright and dark bands or fringes which are contour maps of the air space.
* Optical Flats - Fused Silica
* Optical Flats - Pyrex
