Flip Mirror Holder KSH 90
The swing leaf bears a wobble plate with an adjustment range of ± 0.5° and an aperture of 2". Optics with a thickness > 12 mm (normally 2" mirrors) are fixed with a plastic screw.
Optical components (such as mirrors and beam splitting paltes) having a thickness of only 10 mm can be pressed aganst three stops with the enclosed two clamping shoes and thus fixed.
The swing angle is 45°, the repeatability < 100 µrad. The swing time of the motorized version is about 1 s.
- for use with SYS 90
- black anodized aluminium alloy
- mountable onto pin or slide
- manual operation or motorized

The laser mirror mounts are high-precision trans-adjustment devices, specially conceived for the use as resonator mirror mounts. Using a RT 65 slide and a S 65 profile rail, a highly stable laser resonator can be set up. The adjustment mounts have a central hole with a 35 mm diameter to hold mounted optics or other components. The horizonatl and vertical angles can be adjusted independently of one another. The maximum tilt is 6° (±3°).
Fine-thread screws with a 0.35 mm pitch are available as adjustment elements. On demand, short fine-thread screws with hexagon socket and locking are available for application in serial devices.
- for use with SYS 65
- suitable for mounting laser resonators
- mountable onto pin or slide

| Recent advances in optical materials now provide a common technology path to produce mid and long-wavelength infrared (MWIR & LWIR) aspheres by compression molding. LightPath's Black Diamond technology enables high performance, cost-effective IR aspheric lenses that do not rely on traditional diamond turning or lengthy polishing methods. |

Lens holders are designed to position miniature lenses over CCD/CMOS imagers with high degree of accuracy. Lens holder must keep the lens optic axis centered on the active area of the imager. It must also keep the lens axis perpendicular to the imager surface. Some lens holders also provide special features for holding IR cut-off filters and optical low-pass filters. Lens holders are precision-molded with special plastic materials.

| The adjust.x™ mirror mounts are equipped with three fine thread screws made of stainless steel in a brass bushing. Using tight tolerances, the screws have low hysteresis and backlash. These screws guarantee a wobble free movement, high precision and long-term stability. We only offer these screws as allen-key version. One knob will be delivered with each mirror mount. |

Additional to the manual iris diaphragms motorized versions are available. These have the advantage to drive the iris diaphragms remote controlled, for example in inaccessible places or in closed devices. The motorised iris diaphragms are compatible to the System Kit SYS 65, this means that they have an optical height of 32.5 mm. The motorisation is available in two different types, either with 2-phase step motor with preloaded gear or with DC servomotor with encoder and preloaded gear. The iris diaphragms have two reference/limit switches to indicate the end positions (iris diaphragm open or closed).
Totally closing iris diaphragms consit of two lamella sets with 2.8 mm distance.
- for use with SYS 65
- aperture 0 up to 35 mm
- black anodized aluminium alloy
- mountable onto slide
- contact-free and high-precision limit switches (Hall sensors)
- with 2-phase step motors with gear or DC servomotors with encoder and gear |

Built using proprietary manufacturing processes and custom in-house metrology that result in ±1-nm thickness precision, these etalons lead the industry with superior free-spectral-range tolerances to as tight as ±0.001 GHz. They are supplied to leading OEM customers and researchers worldwide in the telecommunications, aerospace, laser research, and defense industries. With temperature tuning, solid etalons enable precise alignment to the telecommunications ITU grid without active alignment during packaging.
Multi-cavity etalons with flat-top filter functions are also available. They utilize our unique epoxy-free-bonding (CADB) technique for 100% optically transparent optical paths and zero bondline thickness. |
|
| Research Electro Optics, Inc. (REO) offers air-spaced etalons that feature industry-leading precision together with proven volume manufacturing and state of the art functional metrology. Our proprietary adhesive-free bonding process ensures that our open frame and hermetically sealed air-spaced etalons will exceed all Telcordia requirements for durability and reliability. Available with any combination of reflectivities, in Fabry-Perot or GT configuration, REO's etalons have many applications including precision wavelength locking, interleaving, and dispersion compensation. Our etalons are manufactured to have a transmission or reflection peak or edge at a specified frequency, with a specified Free Spectral Range, at a specified incident angle. REO's hermetic etalons have guaranteed ultra-low temperature drift. |

System installation kits allow the experimenter to provide experimental setups within shortest time. Furthermore, it is guaranteed that, when using the existing system components with a future series production, the same kits can be employed. This is particularly important for the industrial research. With the available profile rails, the four different side profiles and the corresponding riders, beam handling heights of 40 mm (SYS 40), 65 mm (SYS 65) and 105 mm (SYS 90) can be reached.
- rail/slide system allows rapid changing of components
- for linear, 2- and 3-dimensional setups
- universal - for laser and fibre-optic technology and classical optics
- for laboratory experiments and series production
- components of the SYS 40 can be combined with System SYS 65 and micro-systems from other suppliers
A wide range range of mounts and adapters make sure that practically all optical components can be properly mounted. The compatibility of these systems to systems from other manufacturers, who followed the OWIS standard, is not less important.
Mechanical and optical starter sets are composed to meet initial requirements. These contain the most frequently needed mechanical or optical components in a rugged convenient case for transport and storage. |

Maximum Damping
We offer the optical tops, 784 series with a 5 mm thick top skin out of stainless steel. They have M6 threads in a 25 mm hole pattern with patented Clean Top II individual nylon cups under each tapped hole. Since no penetration of the core is possible when dangerous chemicals are used on the top's surface, health hazards will not occur by chemicals reaching the core unnoticed
The table tops are available in a full range of sizes and have the maximum dry damping level. Clean Top II exceeds all current industry standards for structural stiffness and damping. The table tops 784 series are recommended for measurement applications in industry, research and developement. They should be used in interferometrical and holographical experiments where resolutions below 1 micrometer are necessary. |
