Head protection for workers at height
A helmet must protect against impacts and falling objects, but it should not get in the way while being worn.
The strengths of VERTEX helmets emanate from Petzl's experience in hostile environments (caving, mountaineering, etc.). These helmets meet professional requirements, with the ability to mount eye and hearing protection. Petzl offers helmets for work at height (BEST and VENT models) with a strong chinstrap, reducing the chance that the helmet may come off during a fall.
The choice between ventilated and non-ventilated models depends on the risks associated with the work environment (electric, molten metal splash, etc.).
The Petzl difference
1- Comfort
Headband height [VERTEX BEST and VERTEX VENT] :
The rear section of the headband pivots up and down along the nape straps.
This allow the wearer to correctly position the headband.
The headband retracts into the shell for storage.
2- 3- Adaptability
Side slots for mounting hearing and/or eye protection. The cut of the shell contours over the ears to fit standard hearing protection.
Four headlamp clips.
4- Complete and simple adjustment
New headband adjustment wheel:
Quick and precise adjustment, even while wearing gloves.

Protector designs their products to be compatible with each other, so that the wearer feels comfortable when using combinations of different Personal Protective Equipment.
All Protector safety helmets have 30mm slots, to allow ear defenders and visor carriers to be worn, and our helmets are designed to be well balanced in use to aid comfort and reduce neck strain.

|
Hearing protection is effective only when the correct product is used and workers wear it all of the time. When choosing hearing protectors, the noise levels, as well as the amount of time spent in the environment, must be taken into consideration. Failure to choose the correct level of protection, or failure to wear the protection 100% of the time can result in irreversible damage to the user's hearing.
