| Belts can be used for all grinding and sanding processes, e.g. with a contact shoe, on the unsupported belt or with a contact wheel, and are distinguished by their high tearing resistance and optimum tensile strength. Heavy, robust, X or Y cloth backings are used for flat surfaces. The machining of flexible parts needs lighter, more flexible backings of J, F or E grade cloth which adapt to the curvature of the workpiece. Belts are used in a multitude of lengths and widths on a whole series of machines. VSM offers belts in numerous sizes for the machining of surfaces. |
