TOPAX NT is a wall-mounted controller and measuring amplifier which has been developed on the basis of the latest microprocessor technology. It can be used for the most different tasks in swimming pool applications, water treatment and process engineering. With its versatile possibilities a solution is offered which stands out for its user-friendliness, interfaces and modularity.
Besides the classic water parameters such as free chlorine, pH value, temperature or REDOX potential it is also possible to measure and further process combined chlorine with the TOPAX NT. Furthermore the combined chlorine content is displayed.
Due to a graphics display the menu-driven operation uses plain text available in different languages. Trend values can be shown as curves on the display. With the help of this curves the user can set the parameters directly.
As an option the TOPAX NT can also carry out the functions of a gas warning device. The chlorine gas sensor can be connected directly.
Digital inputs at the TOPAX NT allow the user to monitor the metering performance of the pumps connected or to control filter flushing continuously, for example.

Deciding whether to use a digital drive or an analog drive really depends on what you need the drive to do. If you already have an intelligent controller that can handle events and it has enough I/O then either will work for your system. If your controller has limitations then a digital drive may be able to make up for them.

Servo Amplifiers
An amplifier is required to power any general purpose drive or servo drive. Depending on the application requirement, CMC offers both general purpose amplifiers and servo amplifiers.
CMC Amplifiers are available with new machinery, in systems and for retrofit.

Two TTL signals control these drives, one for PWM and the other for Direction. Since these drives don't take analog inputs for command the need for a D/A converter for drive control is eliminated.

Servo Amplifiers : MBL / MBLX
MBL and MBLX Motion Science Series Brushless Amplifiers are cost-effective, high performance motion control solutions in compact packages. Designed for brushless motors up to 850 oz-in (2250 oz-in. peak), they are MOSFET, pulse-width-modulated (pwm) servo amplifiers providing four-quadrant control in torque and velocity modes. They are available in 16 different board-level and housed models (12 - MBL and 4 - MBLX amplifiers). MBL and MBLX Motion Science Series Brushless Servo Amplifiers are ideal for a wide range of applications, including pick-and-place, semiconductor, medical, packaging, inspection, robotics, and factory automation.
