Model 6 Basket Strainer and Bag Filters
Model 6 strainer/filter housings are made in 3 sizes and 3 pressure ratings, and can serve as basket strainers (for particle retention down to 74 micron size) or as bag filters (for particle retention down to 1 micron size). In all cases, covers are easily removed without special tools, and the basket or bag is easily cleaned or replaced.

Strainers provide positive and inexpensive protection for costly pumps, meters, valves,
and other similar mechanical equipment by straining foreign matter from the connected piping
system. Installation of a strainer before mechanical equipment can ensure trouble free service
and avoid costly shutdowns for repair or replacement of equipment damaged by foreign
matter. The size of the perforation or mesh in the basket screen will determine the smallest

Typical Service
As with all duplex strainers, these are used where flow cannot be shut down for basket cleaning.
These sight glass duplex strainers are typically used in engine cooling water systems in seawater and heat exchanger applications.
When supplied with fine mesh lined baskets, they can be used to clarify potable water supplies.
Features
Clear acrylic basket chambers allow direct visual inspection of the fluid flow and basket condition.
Flow diversion is accomplished by a single tapered plug diverter that moves 90°, thereby opening one chamber while closing the other.

Description:
Series 97FB-CI Cast Iron, Simplex, Basket Strainers feature an angle-designed basket, cast iron body with flanged connections, stainless steel screen, bolted retainer cap (Model 97FB-CIB) or clamped retainer cap (Model 97FB-CIC) and cast-iron blow-off plug. Sizes 8 to 12 in. (200 to 300mm) have a side drain facing outlet of the strainer. Model 97FB-CIB - Maximum Pressure (non-shock): 200psi (14 bar) @ 150°F (66°C) WOG, 125psi (9 bar) @ 353°F (178°C) WSP. Model 97FB-CIC - Maximum Pressure (non-shock): 50psi (3 bar) @ 150°F (66°C) WOG.

Basket Strainers
Used to filter any fluid in industrial pipes.
The basket strainer is basically used to protect equipment such as:

Basket strainers do not require any tool for maintenance. They have a very simple, strong construction. The cover is sealed with an o-ring, which ensures perfect sealing with minimum grip.

Sprymaster plants are washing booths provided with fixed or rotating internal platform for spray washing with a water-based detergent.
Operation is clean, odourless and fully isolated from the surrounding environment. The spraying chamber is closed by a front door driven by one or two pneumatic cylinder(s) or a motor reducer and racks. The ducts of the spraying nozzle network are oriented in the washing chamber.
The jet configuration has been arranged in such a way as to cover the surface of the items being treated through a procedure which includes chemical, mechanical and thermal functions.

Rosink Cleaner:
Aqueous cleaning of parts!
The Rosink Cleaner is an economic, forward-looking, environmentally friendly, efficient and mobile alternative to solvent cleaning. The system technology of the Rosink Cleaner offers a modular system allowing customization of the highest degree. It is possible to equip the Rosink Cleaner with integrated rinsing programs in single or multi-tub systems followed by drying programs.
Cleaning method
Consisting of 96% water and 4% biodegradable special detergent, the cleansing liquid is automatically heated and controlled by a timer. The
parts to be cleaned are simply put in the rotary basket and
then the pivoting lid is closed and safety locked. A pump
sets the cleansing liquid under pressure and transports it via
special fan nozzles to the parts to be cleaned.
Retrofitting as a rotary drum cleaning machine
It takes only a few seconds to retrofit the Rosink Cleaner as a
rotary drum cleaning machine. Simply hook in the basket receiver into the centring device and insert the unigoods basket with the goods
to be cleaned. The drum equipment is particularly well
suited to the thorough cleaning of hardware, bulk
goods, scooping parts etc. Sensitive parts can be fixed inside the drum. The velocity of the drum depends on the application and is between 1 and 20 rpm.
With a few simple steps a special nozzle holder can be attached, this makes the drum cleaning most effective and efficient.

The BRC cleaners are designed to cleanin components placed in a basket. The wash in done by rotating the basket in a bath with hot alkaline cleaning fluid. There is continuous high-pressure injection of cleaning fluid into the bath. This process results in strong cavitation, which is a highly efficient method to clean component corners and holes.
The BRC cleaners are equipped with a rotating fixture that can be oscillated. It is possible to perform 1-4 stages in the same chamber, e.g. wash, rinse, passivation and drying. The re-circulating cleaning liquids are pumped with separate pumps from each tank and continuously filtrated through the filtration units.
These cleaners come highly equipped as standard. Features such as heat and sound insulation, a stainless steel construction, automatic refill, overfill protection, high-pressure vertical multistage pumps and several other kinds of equipment make the cleaner a perfectly functioning unit. Sampo Rosenlew offers accessories for the BRC series, which ensure easier use and prolonged wash fluid life. The cleaning process can be fully automated by integrating a conveyor system to the production line.

Washing cabinjet are suitable for spray degreasing with water cleaning solutions of parts lying in a turning baskets: the treatment takes place in an opportune cabinet, locked, using the circulating solutions in the lower tanks.
In order to obtain a complete treatment in any section there are ramps positioned over under and on sides.
Inlet ramps of the solutions to the cabinet are independent among the different phases of washing cycle to avoid unwished bath mixing.

The TORUSMILL® TM is a completely new, patented dispersion system which allows for a particularly economic and environmentally dispersion of high quality products. With the TORUSMILL® a predispersion with a dissolver disc and afterwards the extremely fine grinding with an integrated basket mill can be made in one process technology machine in one container.
This innovation intelligently combines proven high speed dispersion technology with a basket mill system. In operation, the TORUSMILL® is first used to predisperse the product with a dissolver disc. During predispersion the torus shaped basket is "parked" in the upper part of the machine. After predispersion, the milling basket, containing the grinding beads and the milling tool is lowered into the millbase and the fine milling process can begin. The fast circulation of the millbase within the milling basket is generated by the dissolver disc and integrated pump wheel; because of this excellent dispersion results and a very narrow particle size distribution can be achieved very quickly. Due to the fact that no pumps, pipes, valves and additional containers are necessary, the cleaning is very easy and a quick change of the millbase is possible.

Basket mill TML – easy to clean and quick product change
Basket mills are extremely efficient grinding systems comprising of a grinding basket that is lowered into the millbase for dispersion. During operation the grinding basket stands still while the milling shaft to which the milling tool, dissolver disc and pump wheel are fastened, rotates. The rotating milling tool agitates the beads inside the basket which disperses the millbase. The dissolver disc at the tip of the shaft and the pumping wheel generate effective circulation of the millbase, helping to provide excellent dispersion results in a short period of time. The TML basket milling system includes a special adapter flange which enables it to be fitted to a DISPERMAT® without the need for any tools. If the standard dissolver shaft and the TML basket milling system are frequently interchanged, an additional DL dissolver shaft is recommended.

The TORUSMILL® SK is a dispersion machine with technology which corresponds closely to the TORUSMILL®. Whereas with the TORUMILL® TM the predispersion with a dissolver disc as well as the milling process with an integrated milling system is possible, the TORUSMILL® SK has been modified to disperse exclusively as a basket mill.
The TORUSMILL® SK is a basket mill where the milling basket filled with bead mills is lowered into predispersed millbase. During the operation the milling basket stands still while the shaft on which the pump wheel, the milling tool and the dissolver disc are fixed, is rotating.
By the means of the milling tool the milling beads are moved within the basket mill and the millbase is dispersed. The separation of the beads/millbase is ensured by a sieve in the bottom of the milling basket. The dissolver disc and above all the pump wheel, which is built into the milling basket, ensure exceptional circulation of the mill base and that excellent milling results are achieved very quickly.
